I asked to speak to a manager and they said they would take my number and call me within 24-48 hrs. I am happy to pay more if I could use the rest of the images over the course of the year, but he said that option is not available to me! I honestly feel scammed. I called within 10 mins of my purchase! I wanted to purchase two images for $29 but since I had already downloaded 1 image Frank the customer service agent on the phone told me I was locked into the subscription and I would have to pay $49 for 10 images and use those over 30 days which I do not need and won't be able to use in 30 days. When I called to say I made a mistake and asked for them to help me they told me I was locked into a one year deal. They told me me that I could buy one package, adjusted my purchase template and locked me into a subscription service. This company has the worst possible customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life! I started a chat with an online chat agent, my boss walked over and asked me a question and when I looked back at my screen they ended the chat. Anyone else: Shutterstock is a great service but if you have to communicate with anybody in this industry just pass on it. Not really sure what she's going through but hope she gets better. Can't believe someone with that much lack of emotional intelligence is in charge of hiring potential employees. I understand that as a recent college graduate I may not have the most impressive work experience but to later make passive comments about the answers I gave in an effort to let me know Im not fit for the position is one of the most unprofessional things I've encountered thus far. She only asked me about my first internship, and downplayed it. She didn't make eye contact with me and seemed standoffish from the start. For those of you thinking about interviewing, read this: The interviewer had come late and with bad energy. I applied for an internship and actually found that the employees, especially my interviewer, seem to all hate their job. I used Shutterstock when I was younger because my computer teacher was very into the service.
